    • In that victory, sophomore pitcher Gia Reynosa tossed her first complete game shutout of the season and the second of her Evangels career, allowing only three hits and issued no walks with one strikeout. As a result, Reynosa was selected as the NCCAA Pitcher Student-Athlete of the Week with her efforts.
    • The Evangels also got another award winner for the week, this time senior utility Emylee Campbell was tabbed as the Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Week. In-between the doubleheader sweep over Central Christian last Tuesday and the split at SCU on Saturday, the Blanchard, Oklahoma native slashed a very solid .467 (7-for-15) with a double and two triples to go with nine RBIs and scored four runs to go with three stolen bases.
    • MACU will be looking to continue being road warriors, as the Evangels possess an 8-2 record in true road games while posting a combined 8-12 mark in home and neutral site contests.
