GREENVILLE, S.C. – After leading the MACU Softball team to just its second ever National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Championship game appearance in program history, senior infielder Kisbel Vizcaya and sophomore pitcher Gia Reynosa were selected as NCCAA All-Americans.

With both players being in their second year with the program, both Vizcaya and Reynosa are collecting their first All-America honors as Vizcaya was selected to the First Team while Reynosa was tabbed to the Second Team. It is also the first time since 2021 that the Evangels had at least two players selected to the NCCAA All-America Team.

Not only did Vizcaya set several single-season marks in MACU's record book, but in only two years with the Evangels, she also set several career record marks as well, including: batting average (.376, 3rd), slugging percentage (.503, 5th), triples (9, 6th), OPS (.901, 7th), hits (136, 9th), and total bases (182, 10th).

During that two-year stint, Vizcaya was a part of two historical teams, including leading the program to its first NAIA Tournament appearance in 2024 and the program's second NCCAA National Championship appearance in 2025.

Vizcaya joins Rachel Eggleston (2021-24) and Cailey Parsells (2020-23) as only the third player in program history to be named to the All-Sooner Athletic Conference First Team at least two times and is the first position player since moving up to the Division I level in 2007 to be named an NCCAA First Team All-American.
